Driver Killed In St. Clair Shores Crash
Three police officers were treated at a local hospital for smoke inhalation.
ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in St. Clair Shores Wednesday night, according to reports.
The fatal scene closed down the eastbound lanes of I-94 near Nine Mile Roadfor most of the night, WDIV reported.
The vehicle caught on fire, according to police, and three St. Clair Shores police officers who were first to respond to the scene and attempted to save the driver needed to be treated for smoke inhalation at a local hospital.
