Nautical Mile Restaurant Week Returning

Dine along Lake St. Clair this month and these participating restaurants.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — There’s nothing like dining along the lake in the springtime. St. Clair Shores is getting ready for its fifth annual Nautical Mile Restaurant Week coming up April 16-22. The week highlights staple restaurants along Jefferson Avenue between Nine Mile and 10 Mile roads, and organizers and business owners are hoping to draw business in to the area.

Participating restaurants include Pat O’Brien’s Tavern, Pegasus Taverna, Steve’s Backroom, Fishbone’s, Detroit’s Finest Coney Island, WaterMark Grille, Mike’s on the Water, Jefferson Yacht Club and Brownie’s on the Lake.

Most restaurants cost between $20-23 for several courses. For example, at Pegasus, diners pay $21 for one starter (between soup of the day, lemon rice or a Greek salad), one entree (between marramunder with asparagus and rice or potatoes, arnaki skaras with prepared cuts of lamb bones marinated and chargrilled with rice or potatoes) and one dessert (between baklava or creme caramel).
