St. Clair Shores Man Dies In House Fire Caused By Cigarette: FD
Crews responded to the early morning fire and found a man believed to be in his 60s dead inside.
ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — A St. Clair Shores man has died in a house fire that fire officials say came from a discarded cigarette.
WDIV reported that the man, believed to be the homeowner, died in the fire at a house on Princeton near 11 Mile Road just before 3 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the man was in his 60s, but he has not been identified.
Fire officials will continue to investigate.
