Troy Elementary Lockdown Ends, Police Remain At School
Police remain at Wattles Elementary to answer questions from parents and students.

TROY, MI – A lockdown at Wattles Elementary has ended, Troy Police report. The school was locked down earlier Tuesday after an armored truck was robbed.
Police said Tuesday afternoon that the school has been secured. One officer was standing by to reassure parents and students.
The thieves were targeting the truck, not the school or area residents, police said. Police said they believed the robbers had fled the area.
