Body Found At Troy Belle Tire, 1 In Custody: Police
One person is in custody after a man was found dead from a single stab wound to the chest outside a Troy Belle Tire, police said.
TROY, MI — One person is in custody in connection with a body that was found near the front entrance of the Rochester Road Belle Tire in Troy Monday morning, police officials said.
Officers from the Troy Police Department were called to the Belle Tire at 4966 Rochester Rd. around 7 a.m. Monday after employees arriving for work found an unresponsive man lying next to the front entrance of the building, police said.
The man — a 38-year-old Flint man whose name has not been released — was dead when officers arrived, police said. It is unclear how long the man was lying outside the building, but authorities said the body was partially covered by the overnight snow.

An autopsy revealed the man died from a single stab wound to the chest, police said. A knife was found in the parking lot of the Belle Tire, police said.
Police said a person of interest was quickly found and taken into custody. A warrant will be submitted to the Oakland County Prosecutor's office Wednesday, police said.
