City of Troy Unveils Redesigned User-Friendly Website

The website is designed to be more user-friendly and visually appealing.

The City of Troy’s website, www.troymi.gov has been redesigned to make navigation easier for residents, businesses and visitors. 

When you log onto the new City of Troy Website you will find a new look with tabs at the top - Live Here, Work Here, Play Here, Government and Resources, as well as Calendar and Contact Us sections.

“The prominent tabs, Live Here, Work Here and Play Here highlight Troy, MI as one of the most dynamic and livable cities in Michigan, and the country; renowned for A+ rated schools, excellent public services,” Community Affairs Director Cindy Stewart said. 

“Troy is also a vibrant business and technology center, home to over 6,100 thriving businesses -- everything from high tech to high finance, employing over 125,000 people.  And don’t forget Troy is a community with world-class shopping, unparalleled dining, and over 900 acres of parklands, a great place to relax and have fun.”

The new website provides information in a colorful easy format that we are sure you will enjoy navigating, it is very user-friendly.  Troy has a YouTube Channel now with an archive of all City Council meetings, as well as additional programs produced by the Community Affairs Department including ones related to Fire and Police Safety, Veterans Day Ceremony, Historic Village Lectures and much more.

“We know people are very busy and want to find things on a website within a couple of clicks,” Stewart added.  “The newly designed site should make navigation simpler. The new redesign will also make navigation easier for smartphone users.   Any phone numbers or website links on the City’s new website can be easily accessed from your phone.

On the newly designed website, check out the City of Troy Planning and Development Department’s new online Portal application to allow residents and other interested parties to view and comment on development applications being considered in Troy.  You can review pending development applications, submit public comment, and learn about projects under construction within the City of Troy.

“This new Planning and Development Portal contains an interactive map of all projects under construction within the City,” Planning Director Brent Savidant said.  “Our intention is to provide transparency and 24/7 access to the City of Troy for all residents and others interested in our community’s planning and development process.”
