Police: Employee Punches Delivery Driver in Face Over Late Pizza
A New York City Pizza employee was cited for assault and battery in the incident.
A 27-year-old man who works at New York City Pizza was cited for assault and battery Wednesday after he punched a delivery driver in the face, according to a media release from the Troy Police Department.
The delivery driver suffered a bloody nose in the incident. The employee apologized for hitting the driver and told police he had not intended to hit the driver.
The incident apparently arose from a dispute about the timeliness of a delivery, according to the media release.
