Tree Lighting with Santa at Troy City Hall

This year's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Dec. 5. at Troy City Hall. It is free for all ages. Children are invited to visit with Santa Claus after he lights the Christmas tree. The Athens High School Choirs (Magic! & Concert Choir), directed by Michelle Marszalkowski, will lead the caroling. Please sing along! The Troy Colts Drumline will perform and everyone will enjoy hot cocoa & holiday sweets. Special costumed characters will meet with children courtesy of Great Clips, Troy. Event held in front of City Hall at the Veteran’s Plaza and cablecast on WTRY (WOW 10/Comcast 17).
