Ex-Troy City Manager Due In Court On Assault Charge

Fired Troy City Manager Brian Kischnick was involved in an altercation with a woman earlier this month.

TROY, MI – Fired Troy City Manager Brian Kischnick is expected to appear in court on Tuesday for a hearing on domestic assault and battery charges in connection to an incident earlier this month, reports ClickOnDetroit. Troy City Council fired Kischnick on March 11, two days after the alleged incident occurred. Kischnick was involved in an altercation with a woman identified as an employee in his office on March 9, police said. Kischnick and the woman were returning from dinner together the evening of March 9 when they began to argue. During the altercation, Kischnick shoved the woman to the ground.
