Feds Say Highland Park Officers Transported Cocaine from Oakland Mall
The FBI announced charges against four Highland Park officers whom federal officials said transported what they thought was cocaine from Oakland Mall to Taylor, according to reports in the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press.
Oakland Mall in Troy figures in a scandal involving four Highland Park police officers whom the FBI said accepted bribes and conspired to distribute cocaine.
Federal authorities said that two Highland Park officers—Price Montgomery and Anthony Bynum—transported what they thought was two kilos of cocaine from Oakland Mall to Taylor on Nov. 15, 2012, according to a report in the Detroit News.
Authorities also said Montgomery, Bynum, Shawn Williams and Craig Clayton moved what they thought was four kilos of cocaine from Oakland Mall on Jan. 23, 2013.

Federal officials announced the charges against the four police officers at a press conference Friday, according to the Detroit Free Press. The four men are expected to be arraigned later Friday.
