Fuel Report: Gas Prices Drop 3 Cents in Troy on Tuesday Morning

As the temperature is dropping in the Metro Detroit area, so too are the gas prices.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.28 this morning — down three cents from last week's average of $3.31.

If you're looking for even more-inexpensive gas, you could travel to Commerce, which boasts the cheapest gas in the region. A Speedway station at Commerce and Union Lake roads is selling gas for $3.04 a gallon Tuesday morning.

Around the Troy area, the lowest price you'll find is $3.11 at the Kroger station on South Boulevard and Crooks roads. Gas is as high as $3.39 at many other area stations.
