The Menorah In The D Festival Is Coming To Town
Campus Martius will be transformed into a Hannukah festival with face painting, crafts, music, and roasted marshmallows.
DETROIT, MI — In honor of Hanukkah, which begins the night of Dec. 24, the Lighting of the Menorah in the D, Detroit's massive Hanukkah celebration, is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 27.
Below is a rundown of the fun and festivities that await you at the 6th Annual Lighting of the Menorah in the D at Campus Martius, 800 Woodward Ave., Detroit:
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Great Jewish Family Festival in the Cadillac Square Heated Tent. Free admission. Face painting, Giant Activity Dreidel, Channuakah crafts, balloon sculptures and candle making.

3:30 p.m. Juggling Show, 4:15 p.m. Music Show with Avy Schreiber at the Kroger Entertainment Stage
5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Menorah Lighting Ceremony and Outdoor Activities, live music, and dancing dreidels.

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: After party for the 21 plus crew in the Cadillac Square Heated Tent. On the agenda: DJ Benny, cooking demos and craft beer. Tickets: $10 online, $15 at the door.
