With highs mostly in the upper 70s, the week of June 19 looks spectacular.
METRO DETROIT, MI — In one of legendary Michigan rocker Bob Seger’s songs, the lyrics talk about the “sweet summertime.” After months of clouds, cold and snow, the days of sunshine and warmth are precious. Seger would, no doubt, appreciate the coming work week weather forecast.
Sunday’s low temperature is expected to dip to a comfortable 63 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Winds will be light at 5 to 10 mph. Here’s a closer look at the weather forecast for the week of June 19:

Tuesday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. West wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 58.
