Metro Detroit Weather: Frost Advisory, Mostly Cool Week Ahead
Wednesday should be the warmest day of of a mostly sunny week, but there's also a strong likelihood of rain moves into the forecast.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Metro Detroit residents, especially those in rural locations in Wayne County, could wake up to frost Monday after overnight temperatures dip below 40, the National Weather Service said.
Monday, a Columbus Day holiday for some workers, will be sunny but cool. The warmest day of the week will be Wednesday, when a high temperature of 72 is expected, but otherwise, it will be a cool week as autumn takes hold in Metro Detroit.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 61; calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon. Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 46; south-southeast wind 3 to 5 mph.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 66, south wind 3 to 6 mph. Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51; south-southeast wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Wednesday night: 60 percent chance of showers, mainly between 8 p.m. and 2 p.m.; mostly cloudy with a low around 50.
Thursday: A chance of showers before 8 a.m.; mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. Saturday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.
Sunday: A chance of showers; mostly cloudy, with a high near 70.
