Nativity Scene Will Come to Life at Troy Church

Llamas, donkeys, and a camel! Oh my! The fourth annual event comes to Zion Christian Church Dec. 22.

Zion Christian Church will host a live nativity scene on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m., complete with llamas, donkeys, cows, sheep and even a camel.

“This is our fourth year hosting the live nativity and it’s becoming a cherished tradition,” said senior pastor Scott LeLacheur. “The animals make the Christmas story come to life and it’s amazing to watch the children’s faces light up when they see them.”

The service will feature Christmas carols and a short dramatic presentation of the Christmas story, as well as the live nativity. Families are invited to take pictures of the animals after the service, but no petting will be permitted. Zion is located at 3668 Livernois, between 16 Mile and 17 Mile, in Troy.
