Oakland County Sheriff Seeks Help Finding Missing Man
The man escaped from an ambulance while being taken to a local hospital, officials said.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a 22-year-old Southfield man they said ran away from an ambulance he was in while being transferred to an area hospital on Thursday.
Dijimon Kelly was being transported from Ascension Hospital-Southfield to Pontiac General by ambulance when he freed himself from restraints and fled from the ambulance while it was southbound on Seminole Street, the sheriff's office said Friday.
Deputies immediately searched the area around Pontiac General Hospital but were unable to find Kelly, authorities said.

Kelly was under a clinical petition by the Oakland County Probate Court for mental health problems at the time of his escape, police said. He "suffers from impulse control issues and has made statements threatening 'Suicide by Cop,'" the sheriff's office said.
Sheriff's officials described Kelly as standing 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighing about 115 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hospital gown, black sweatpants and socks, officials said.
