Troy Police: Teen Girl Drives Away with Man Clinging to Hood of Car

A 17-year-old female from Lapeer was arrested for felonious assault Saturday after driving several blocks with a 23-year-old Troy man "clinging to the hood of the car," according to a media release from the .

The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. Saturday on the 2000 block of Teasdale in Troy. The man had jumped onto the hood of the car after engaging in a child custody exchange dispute, according to the media release.

The 17-year-old driver is not the mother of the child involved in the exchange, and the man was not injured in the incident.
