Senior Brigade

State Rep. Martin Howrylak is hosting a Senior Brigade event on Friday, Jan. 17. The event held in conjunction with the Attorney General’s office will focus on helping seniors identify and avoid identity theft scams.

“Technology can be very beneficial in our everyday lives. Unfortunately with the continued advancement of technology means more avenues to encounter identity theft,” said Howrylak, R-Troy. “Unfortunately seniors seem to be a likely target for these types of crimes. I invite all residents of the 41st District -- seniors or not -- to come and learn ways to protect themselves from identity theft.”

The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Clawson Senior Center located at 509 Fisher Court.  Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the event. Residents looking for more information may contact Rep.
