Shelving Inc. Announces 2020 Business Scholarship Winners
Three students awarded with $1500 or $1000 scholarship towards college education

Shelving Inc., a second-generation family-owned provider of corporate and consumer shelving and storage solutions, hosted its sixth annual business scholarship contest to provide three eligible college students currently pursuing a major in business and/or enrolled in a business-related field of study with $1,500 or $1000 to help further their education. The 2020 winners include Vinh Le, Rachel Clark and Alexandra Isaac. Mike Schodowski, president of Shelving Inc., made the announcement.
The contest was offered to Michigan residents in support of educational goals for students in communities across the state. Eligible students included those entering college and students currently pursuing a business-related major, including retail management, finance, strategic design, supply chain management and human resources. The three scholarship recipients were selected based on the essays they wrote outlining their college aspirations. Le earned first place and received a $1,500 scholarship, while Clark and Isaac earned second and third place and were granted $1,000 scholarships.
“We understand the significance of a solid education and the importance of giving our youth every opportunity to shape their futures, now more than ever,” said Schodowski. “As a Michigan company, we want to do everything we can to assist students in our community with their aspirations. Throughout the long list of outstanding essay submissions, these three winners captured our attention with their emphasis on the importance of education, desire to follow their passions, and goals to seek personal success for themselves and future generations.”
