Lingerie Flies Out the Window in Troy Chase, Police Say

Troy police recovered $747.20 of stolen Victoria's Secret merchandise.

TROY, MI — A 48-year-old Flint woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing hundreds of dollars of merchandise from Victoria's Secret, which she later reportedly tossed out of her car window as police tailed her, according to a police report.

The story first started at Victoria’s Secret, located at 2800 W. Big Beaver Rd. on Jan. 20 at 1:32 p.m. An officer was called to the store on a report of three suspicious subjects. Police report that one subject - who was later identified as the Flint woman - reportedly became nervous at the very sight of the officer and left Victoria's Secret without attempting to pay for what looked like merchandise stuffed into her handbag.

The officer followed the woman and watched her get into a gray 2007 Chevrolet Impala. Police say she allegedly picked up the other two subjects, then drove off at a fast speed.
