Talk About A Fast Getaway! Men Steal Ford Pick-Up During Test Drive: Police

TROY, MI — A test drive turned into crime in zero to 60.

Two men walked into Elder Ford at 777 John R Rd. on Feb. 4 at 12:30 p.m. under the guise they were interested in buying a F-250 pick-up, according to a police report. Police say the men presented State of Indiana driver's licenses, hopped into a white 2014 Ford F-250 pick-up and drove off on a test drive...only to never return.

Police say it was determined that the two men, described as white and in their mid 30's, provided fraudulent identification.
