Target in Troy Will Add Fresh Produce, Full Grocery Section
It's part of an overhaul of several area Target stores this year.

Troy is about to gain another grocery option.
The Target store on Coolidge will add fresh foods and more expanded grocery items as part of a nationwide overhaul of select Target locations.
Fresh produce and meats and other perishable food items will be among the features of the expansion.

The Troy Target is among nine Detroit-area Target locations that will see expanded grocery sections, according to the Detroit Free Press. Others include Canton, Clinton Township, Livonia, Commerce Township, Auburn Hills, Rochester Hills, Allen Park and Southfield.Â
More than half of all Target stores nationwide already offer an expanded fresh food grocery section, according to a report on the grocery store trend in Business Insider.Â
