Counselors to Help Boulan Students Deal with Troy Classmate's Death
Sixth-grader Sean Taglione died in a traffic accident Saturday.

Grief counselors will be on hand Monday when students return to in Troy after the death over the weekend of classmate Sean Taglione.
Sean, a 12-year-old sixth-grader at Boulan, was about 6 p.m. Saturday, and later died from his injuries. His parents had contacted police earlier that day, telling them their son had run away from home.
"This young man was well known and well liked," Troy schools spokeswoman Kerry Birmingham said in an email to Troy Patch.

Counselors will be at the school Monday to speak with students as they cope with the death of their classmate and friend, Birmingham said.
Police said Sean ran into traffic around 6 p.m. on Coolidge between Glouchester and Golfview, south of Big Beaver. A driver struck him in the southbound lanes.Â

Sean was taken to in Royal Oak, where he later died.
Troy Police spokesman Andi Breidenich said the driver isn't likely to face any charges. "From our initial investigation, it doesn't appear there was any fault upon the driver," Breidenich said.
