Troy Police Investigating Shots Fired Near Hilton Garden Inn

Detectives said a Dodge Durango was seen driving away from the scene.

TROY, MI — Over 30 rounds were fired by multiple people Tuesday night near the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy, police said Wednesday.

The shots were first reported at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday near 200 Wilshire, police said. A Dodge Durango was seen driving away from the scene, police said.

Troy police said over 30 bullet casings from different guns were found in the parking lot.

Several people were interviewed at the scene and multiple guns were recovered by police, authorities said. The identity of the shooters and the motive for the shots fired remain unclear.

Police said is unknown if anyone was shot, but two windows at the hotel were shot out.
