Two Weeks Since Disappearance of Farmington Hills Woman

Friends are reportedly worried that Danielle Stislicki's kind-hearted nature could have contributed to her disappearance.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — Two weeks ago today, Danielle Stislicki went missing.

The 28-year-old Farmington Hills woman was last seen leaving her job at MetLife on Telegraph Rd. in Southfield on Dec. 2 and thereafter seemingly vanished without a trace.

Stislicki's friends and family have flooded local businesses with flyers of Stislicki and organized a candle light vigil for the young woman.

Some of Stislicki's friends worry that her outgoing, warm-hearted nature may have contributed to her disappearance, PEOPLE reports. "If she would have gotten out of her car at her apartment building and if someone was there and asked her for help, she would have been that outgoing person who would give someone directions or help someone find a lost pet,” Holly Juip, Stislicki’s cousin, told PEOPLE.

Jessica Hunter-Shively, who has known Stislicki since high school, says Stislicki "doesn't have a bad bone in her body." As for the theory that Stislicki ran away, Hunter-Shively dismissed that. “Even if she were to just run away, why would she leave all of her stuff behind? It doesn’t make sense. She’s such a family person and a people person."

Police are asking the public to come forward if they have seen Stislicki's keys, which are adorned with a yellow smiley face key chain, and her rose-colored Samsung Galaxy Core Prime phone.
