- Troy Mayor Argues with Proclamation Recipient During Meeting (With Video). Troy Mayor Janice Daniels argued with former council member Mary Kerwin about the origin of Kerwin's recent 2012 Distinguished Citizen award.
- Troy Police Confirm Body Found Near Big Beaver and Dequindre. The body of a 55-year-old Detroit man who was reported missing earlier this month was found by construction workers in the area, according to Troy Police.
- Father Arrested in Homicide Death of 3-Month-Old Troy Baby. First responders found Kendalyn Elizabeth-Rose Little unresponsive on the floor of a Troy home Monday while the father, 25-year-old Troy resident Kenneth Little, stood nearby. Little was charged Thursday with killing his daughter. Meanwhile, a memorial fund has been set up in Kendalyn's name.
- Beaumont Seeks 'Vaginal Valium' Research Study Participants. The Women's Urology Center will be testing whether medications taken vaginally, including Valium, offer more effective relief than when taken orally.
- Troy Mayor Calls Argument with Distinguished Citizen 'Unfortunate.' Janice Daniels gives her side of the incident that occurred during Monday evening's Troy City Council meeting between herself and 2012 Troy Distinguished Citizen Mary Kerwin Monday.
