Come visit our church New City PCA - MI, currently meeting on-line. Not sure if we'll meet at ROMS or our building after lock-out is done.

Our church is hosting its weekly liturgy on-line each Sunday except for the weekly communion at newcitypc.org/worship, which currently has last week’s Palm Sunday service. You can join us for Easter worship at 10:30 a.m. Michigan time or any time after that at your convenience.

We welcome everyone to join us. Our pastors hit a home run every Sunday. I think people of all backgrounds will enjoy the service and music, whether you are Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, a non-church goer or a member of a different faith.

This time of forced isolation is not good - man (people) was not meant to be alone. it's a good time to visit other churches, especially if you don't attend regularly or your place of worship is not having on-line services.

I predict our church will say the traditional greeting:

Leader: He is risen!

Congregation: He is risen indeed!

Some churches add: “and He’s coming back!” to which I would add “Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus, come!”

Matthew 11:28-30 is an appropriate text for those who seek relief from their pain - don't turn to the bottle but towards the One who calmed the sea.

"28 Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”"

Here's a good sermon from a different church on this passage, though I prefer New King James Version to the New Revised Standard Version. The RSV was the Bible translation of my youth; I don't know what changes have been made to it to update it.

Finally, here is a discussion led by our pastor on how to cope in times of struggle. We hope you visit us soon, and often!

May God bless you and yours, everyone!
