Burnsville Public Schools: Important Dates To Know
District 191 has released its "Safe Return to School Plan" for fall 2020.
BURNSVILLE, MN — Most students in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District will start the fall using the distance learning model, but officials say the plan is to move more grades into the hybrid model "over the course of September."
As the school year approaches, District 191 has released its "Safe Return to School Plan." Find important dates from the plan below:
Sept. 8-9
- No school. Staff professional development days.
Sept. 10-11
- PreK: No School
- Grades K-1: Parents will receive class-related info from teachers
- Grades 2-12: Distance learning begins
Sept. 14-18
- Grades PreK-1, 6, 9: Hybrid learning begins
- Grades 2-5, 7-8 and 10-12: Distance learning continues
Sept. 21-25
- Grades Prek-3, 6-7, 9, 12: Hybrid learning
- Grades 4-5, 8, 10-11: Distance learning
Sept. 28 and beyond
All grade levels — except those in the One91 Virtual Academy — will participate in the hybrid model
