Burnsville's 'Birnamwood Golf Course' To Open March 20

BURNSVILLE, MN— Birnamwood Golf Course will open March 20, the city of Burnsville announced Friday.

Tee time can be booked online or by calling 952-641-1370 and will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Superintendent of the golf course Daniel Rootes said.

Registration is also underway for various golf leagues.

"We are opening as early as we can because we know people want to get outside because of the long winter and the pandemic," Rootes said.

Rootes also said the golf course will use similar safety precautions as last year, including sanitizing items that many golfers may use.
