'Caribou Cabin' Opens In Burnsville

BURNSVILLE, MN — Caribou Coffee will open its first Twin Cities’ Caribou Cabin location in Burnsville on Thursday, Dec. 19, with a grand opening celebration slated for Jan. 3.

The company announced plans for the new, small-format locations in late summer and opened the first location in Jordan, Minnesota in November. The cabins are just under 600 square feet, have “Caribou-blue” exteriors and convenient drive-thru windows, with no interior seating.

The cabins are designed with a "Northwoods" feel, and the coffee company says they'll provide convenience, speed, and efficiency.

Customers at the Burnsville location will enjoy an expanded beverage menu with a selection of breakfast sandwiches and bakery items, according to a news release.

The Caribou Cabin in Burnsville is located at 2351 County Road 42. The location has a drive-thru window and walk-up window where customers can place a pick-up order made ahead via the Caribou Perks app.
