Closure Of I-35W Postponed Due To Rain: DOT

BURNSVILLE, MN— The closure of northbound I-35W between Burnsville and Bloomington that had been scheduled for May 21-24 has been rescheduled due to rain, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.

The DOT said it would send out a new date for the construction when one is determined.

The construction is to replace the I-35W Minnesota River Bridge, the DOT said. The project will also replace pavement from Cliff Road to 106th Street and construct a trail between Black Dog Road and Lyndale Avenue, the DOT said.
