Deadline For Water Enhancement Grants Approaching March 26

The grants are for residents who are planning projects on private property to enhance water quality.

BURNSVILLE, MN— Applications for the Neighborhood Water Resources Enhancement Grant (NWREG) are due on Wednesday, March 26, the city of Burnsville said.

The grants award up to $1,000 to projects on private property that enhance water quality, the city said.

Recipients of the grant will receive a reimbursement after the project is completed, the city said.

The grant may not be used for projects that have already been started, or already completed, the city said.

City staff will review the applications and make decisions mid-May, and applicants will be notified by email of whether or not their application has been approved, the city said.
