Here's How Many Dakota County Residents Have Been Vaccinated

In Minnesota overall, 675,329 ​people have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN— A total of 39,646 residents— or 9.4 percent of the county— have received at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the latest numbers from the Minnesota Department of Health.

Of those, 13,793 residents — or 3.3 percent of the county — have received both doses.

In Minnesota overall, 675,329 people have received at least one dose. About 238,104 people, or 4.2 percent of the state, have received both doses.

In all, 936,100 vaccines have been shipped to Minnesota providers, and 221,950 vaccines have been shipped to long-term care facilities for the CDC long-term care vaccination program.
Those who are currently eligible to be vaccinated include:

  • Healthcare workers
  • Those who work at or live in long-term care facilities
  • People age 65 and older
  • Educators, school staff, and childcare workers
