I-35W Bridge Project: Open Houses In Burnsville, Bloomington

The Minnesota River Bridge project team will provide a project update and details about what to expect during the 2019 construction season.

BURNSVILLE, MN — The public and business communities are invited to learn about the reconstruction project on Interstate 35W between Cliff Road in Burnsville and 106th Street in Bloomington.

Two open houses will be held on Monday, April 15:

  • 1 to 3 p.m. at the Burnsville City Hall, City Council Chambers, 100 Civic Center Parkway in Burnsville
  • 5 to 7 p.m. at the Oak Grove Middle School Cafeteria, Door 5, 1300W 106th Street in Bloomington

The Minnesota River Bridge project team will provide a project update and details about what to expect during the 2019 construction season, including traffic impacts, detours, overnight work and the anticipated schedule.

During the I-35W Minnesota River Bridge project, crews will reconstruct the I-35W bridges over the Minnesota River and 106th Street, replace pavement from Cliff Road to 106th Street and construct a trail between Black Dog Road and Lyndale Avenue.
