ISD 191 Recognized By MN Department Of Education

BURNSVILLE, MN — Independent School District 191 has been recognized by the Minnesota Department of Education as a 2021 Sustaining Exemplar Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) District.

To be recognized as a PBIS District, ISD 191 had to demonstrate capacity for coordination, training, coaching and evaluation to support schools, the district said. Schools also must complete training and show implementation of PBIS policies, the district said.

ISD 191 said it will be celebrated in a virtual ceremony June 17.

“We are so proud of the work that our administrators, PBIS coaches, and all staff in our buildings have done to support PBIS,” Kelly Czapar, District 191 behavior analyst said. “Their work, passion, and dedication surrounding One91 students in this ever-changing year is incredible!”
