Lindsey Vonn Downhill Skiing Schedule, Results: 2018 Olympics
Downhill skier Lindsey Vonn begins her quest for gold medals Sunday in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

Lindsey Vonn begins her quest for Olympic gold in several Alpine ski events at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, on Sunday. Vonn is looking to make up for the medals she lost when she had to sit out of the 2104 games in Sochi because of a knee injury. Vonn is expected to compete in the super-G, downhill and combined events.
The three-time Olympian from Vail, Colorado, who was born in St. Paul and spent part of her childhood in the Burnsville area, won gold and bronze in the 2010 Winter Games, but missed the Sochi Olympics in 2014 because of injuries. Despite that, Vonn, 33, is still the sport's most winning skier, and has earned world titles in all five alpine ski disciplines — something that doesn't often happen.
The event will be televised by NBC beginning at 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time. Here’s where to find Vonn’s full competition schedule.
