New School District Leader Named
Cynthia Amoroso joins new Superintendent Joe Gothard, who was hired earlier this year.
The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage school district is set to get a new Assistant Superintendent, according to the Pioneer Press.
The school board tapped Mankato schools curriculum director Cynthia Amoroso last month. She will join Superintendent Joe Gothard, who was formally hired in May. Gothard is formerly the assistant superintendent of the Madison, Wisconsin public schools.
"Cindy's colleagues refer to her as a 'go to' person because of her strong instructional leadership and understanding of complex challenges," Gothard said in a statement given to the Pioneer Press.
