Special Olympics Volunteer Passes Away at 79

Marilyn Elizabeth (Ward) Allcorn passed away at the age of 79 Aug. 1, 2013 while residing at Martin Luther Nursing Home in Bloomington, MN.

According to her obituary on SunThisWeek.com, Allcorn was born in Alliance, Ohio to Edward and Hazel Ward on August 23, 1933. She volunteered extensively as head coach for Special Olympics in Burnsville, and loved to play golf, Bridge and the piano.
