Vacant Lot In Burnsville’s Heart Of City Will Be Developed
Chase first became interested in purchasing and developing the vacant lot in late 2016.

BURNSVILLE, MN — After a legal battle that has been ongoing for more than two years, a long-vacant lot in Burnsville Heart of the City area will be developed with a luxury four-story mixed-use apartment development, following a decision by the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
The empty lot was originally approved for development by Burnsville in 2004, but was never developed due to the economic crash and restrictions on the property.
Chase first became interested in purchasing and developing the vacant lot in late 2016. A neighboring landowner sought to block the development and sued Chase, the city of Burnsville, and the property seller, according to a news release.
