3 Injured In Lakeville Crash Monday, 1 Airlifted
Police were called to Dodd Boulevard near Franchise Way just before 3:45 p.m.

LAKEVILLE, MN — Police are investigating after crash in Lakeville left three people injured Monday afternoon. Two of the drivers involved have serious injuries.
Police were called to Dodd Boulevard near Franchise Way just before 3:45 p.m.
Witnesses reported that a southbound Dodge Journey crossed the centerline and struck a northbound Honda Fit, according to police.

A Jeep Liberty, also northbound, became involved in the crash, suffered damage and left the roadway striking a tree, authorities said.
Two drivers needed extrication by the Lakeville Fire Department. The driver of the Honda was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center by North AirCare.

Allina Ambulance transported the other drivers to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul. The driver of the Jeep Liberty is in critical condition, according to a news releas.e
Names of all three drivers are being withheld until their families are notified.
While the cause of this crash remains under investigation, Lakeville police is reminding drivers that Daylights Saving Time is a dangerous time on the roadway.
Drivers are urged to buckle up, slow down and use extra caution. The week after the time change can often lead to tired drivers, authorities said.
