Bernard Oliver Hofschulte, 85

Bernard Oliver Hofschulte, age 85 of Lakeville, passed away at Highview Hills in Lakeville, on February 10, 2013.

He is survived by his loving wife, Delores, children, Jay (Danielle) Hofschulte, Scott (Karen) Hofschulte, Mary Hofschulte, Jan (Mike) Zapata, Julie (Dan) Corbett; grandchildren, Trista (John), Michael, Lauren, Rachel, Andrea (Brandon), Lindsay, Desirée, Alexandra, Josephine, Alaina, Ashley, Matthew, Adeline, Faith; great grandchildren, Mason, Scarlett, Liam, Arianna. Bernard is also survived by his sisters, Sister Mary Joseph "Adeline", Anna Marie Hofschulte, and Theresa (Norbert) Burke, and many other relatives and friends.

Bernard was a longtime resident of the Lakeville/Northfield area. He built Bernco Millwork Company that successfully operated 45 years as a result of his strong work ethic, diligence, and dedication. He spent countless hours enjoying the great outdoors, tending to his land, hunting with his sons and fishing with his family and friends.

Bernard loved the Lord and faithfully served Him through his support to local ministries and world missions. He touched the lives of many and he will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 11 AM Friday, February 15, 2013, at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville, MN. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday, February 14 at White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Tr., Lakeville, MN, also 1 hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer’s Association or Net Ministries.
