Christmas Show, Boutique and Art Sale: Around Lakeville this Weekend

Trials, Tribulations and Christmas decorations

This is the last weekend of the wonderful play put on by Expression! Theater. Kim's widowed dad, John, is a grinch, and she's decided enough is enough. She hatches a plan to break him out of his rut this Christmas and invites several unwanted guests, including John's first love, Leslie, who he hasn't seen in 30 years, her elderly mother and her ten-year-old niece, who seem to want to give him nothing but grief. Add Kim's husband, Dennis, who John has never accepted, and her friends, Laney and Julie, a couple of over-the-top Christmas fanatics, and you've got a “Christmas to end all Christmases!”

The Holly House Boutique

The 33rd annual Holly House Boutique is a holiday boutique that features handcrafted and other gift items for sale. There will also be a collection of non-perishable food or personal hygiene items for theLakeville Resource Center.

• Saturday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
• Sunday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Holiday Art Sale

The annual Holiday Art Sale is returning to the Lakeville Area Arts Center. The sale features artwork by students and instructors from the arts center. Featured work comes from a variety of mediums, such as jewelry, pottery and mixed media.

Time: Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9 am. to 3 p.m. (continues through Dec. 5)
