Dumb Criminal: Lakeville Bank Robber Forgets To Hide Face

"The suspect made no attempt to hide his appearance," police said in a news release.

LAKEVILLE, MN — Many criminals have the common sense to cover their faces when committing crimes, but not all. Lakeville police are asking for the public’s help in finding a bank robber who — fortunately — failed to cover his face during the act.

"The suspect made no attempt to hide his appearance," police said in a news release.

The robbery occurred Dec. 22 at 11 a.m. at the New Market Bank in Lakeville. The robber displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect drove a black passenger car, wore a tan work style jacket, scarf and a knit hat with a small brim. He is approximately 6 feet tall and has a slim or athletic build.
