Enjoy Outdoor Winter Activities in Lakeville This Weekend

It's also the last weekend to see "Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells" at the Lakeville Area Arts Center.

Here are some Lakeville area events from Dec. 27-29. Find more activities under the Events tab on Patch and add your own.

Cross Country Skiing and Snowmobiling
Enjoy these activities at Ritter Farm Park and at snowmobile trails throughout Lakeville. For trail conditions, visit Lakeville Sno Trackers.
You can also rent snowshoes from the city for $3 a pair. A $75 deposit is also required. Purchase and pick up snowshoes at City Hall from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can reserve shoes and find information about snowshoe availability by calling Lakeville Parks and Recreation at 952-985-4600.
City Hall is located at 20195 Holyoke Avenue. Ritter Farm Park is located at 19300 Ritter Trail in Lakeville.

Lakeville Outdoor Skating Rinks Open

Outdoor ice rinks and warming houses are now open. Normal operating hours are:

  • 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday
  • 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday
  • 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday
