Horse Let Out to Graze on I-35 After Truck Avoids Crash

If you saw a horse grazing on the side of Interstate 35 this weekend, here's why.

Minnesota winters are known to cause some strange scenes, but what happened this weekend might have been a first. A truck and horse trailer went off the road Sunday on Interstate 35 in Lakeville after swerving to avoid a crash.

After the truck went off the road without incident, the horse was let out of the trailer and left to graze on the side of I-35.

A tow truck eventually moved the truck, trailer and horse to its shop so the trailer could be repaired, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
