Terrell was originally under investigation for sexual misconduct after being accused of having a sexual relationship with his then 15-year-old girlfriend in 2011. At the time, Terrell was 21.

As part of the investigation, police seized two computers. The images were discovered on one of the computers.

In June of 2012, Lakeville Police contacted Terrell, the complaint says, and he was told what police had found. Terrell denied knowledge of the pornographic images, telling police he didn't "remember putting any on the computer."

After further questioning, Terrell said he had received a "file from a buddy of pornography," but said he couldn't remember what was in the file.

It's unclear where the sexual conduct investigation into Terrell stands at this time.

Terrell's next court date is scheduled for next month. If convicted, he faces up to five years in jail.
