Lakeville's Utility Boss Named 'Superintendent of Year'

The Minnesota American Public Works Association named Ken Seurer, Lakeville's long-time utility superintendent, State Superintendent of the Year.

Ken Seurer, Lakeville's long-time utility superintendent, has been named State Superintendent of the Year by the Minnesota American Public Works Association.

Public Works Director Chris Petree told the Star Tribune that Seurer deserved the honor.

"He has a wealth of knowledge and has built a truly quality infrastructure here in Lakeville with the council and the rest of our staff," Petree said, according to the report.

Seurer, who has worked for the city for 35 years, was recognized by the City Council during the Dec. 3 meeting.
