Lakeville South Faces Bloomington Jefferson in Hockey Competition
The Hockey City Classic Winter Festival at the University of Minnesota will feature five high school hockey games.
The Lakeville South boys hockey team will play Bloomington Jefferson in the outdoor High School Hockey Faceoff on Jan. 11.
The High School Hockey Faceoff will feature five games at the TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis as part of the Hockey City Classic Winter Festival hosted by the University of Minnesota in partnership with Intersport. The winter festival is a multi-day event consisting of various winter activities, such as a day of free public skating and adult hockey events.
The Lakeville South vs. Bloomington Jefferson game is scheduled for 3 p.m. The other four games consist of the following matches:
- 10 a.m. Eden Prairie vs. Minnetonka (Girls)
- 12:30 p.m. Benilde-St. Margaret’s vs. Minnetonka (Boys)
- 5:30 p.m. White Bear Lake vs. Cretin-Derham Hall (Boys)
- 8 p.m. Eagan vs. Eastview (Boys)
Tickets purchased online or on the day of the game are $12. Competing high schools will sell tickets ahead of the event for $10.
