Lakeville Woman, 23, Critical After Crash On Snowy Road

LAKEVILLE, MN — A 23-year-old Lakeville woman is in critical condition after a crash Wednesday afternoon. The woman was southbound on County Road 50 in Lakeville when her Honda Accord lost control, crossed the median and was struck broadside by a northbound Buick Encore, police said.

The crash occurred near the south intersection of County Road 50 and Jaguar Ave at 3:30 p.m.

The driver of the Buick and was not injured. Her son was transported to Ridges Hospital in Burnsville with minor injuries, according to a news release.

It was snowing and roads were slippery at the time of the crash, authorities said. County Road 50 northbound was closed for several hours.

Lakeville police are investigating the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol will be assisting with a crash reconstruction.

All names of those involved in the crash are being withheld at this time.
