Minneapolis Man Given 68 Months in Prison For Lakeville Crime Spree

A Dakota County judge sentenced Jeffrey Michael Super to concurrent prison terms after the man pleaded guilty to felony theft, burglary, fleeing a peace officer and possession of a controlled substance.

A Minneapolis man convicted of four separate felony charges last October was sentenced on Friday to five years and eight months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility at St. Cloud.

Dakota County District Court Judge Tim Wermager sentenced 29-year-old Jeffrey Michael Super to concurrent prison terms after the man pleaded guilty to felony theft, burglary, fleeing a peace officer and possession of a controlled substance on Oct. 24. 

Super was arrested on Oct. 18 for his role in a that victimized a woman three times between Sept. 30 and Oct. 3.

Super was initially charged with eight felonies for his crimes.   

Judge Wermager also ordered Super to pay a $75 criminal court surcharge and a $75 co-pay for use of a public defender.

If he stays out of trouble in prison, Super will be eligible for release in April 2016—after four-and-a-quarter years behind bars.
